Every summer there’s one wedding that really stands out to me. This late July wedding that took place in Girdwood was certainly unique. The bride had a special request. She was missing an arm and preferred to have a flower bracelet than a bouquet.
I was up for the challenge.
Fluffy baby’s breath, the sweetest little blush spray rosebuds and gunnii eucalyptus, all modeled on this hilarious hand I literally found on the side of the road that day.
The bridesmaids had bracelets to match.
The bride wanted a delicate flower crown, another fun challenge for me as I’m used to big bold crowns.
She also wanted a big arrangement as a memorial to her grandmother.
This might be one of the most grand arrangements I’ve ever made. Peonies, roses, stock, baby’s breath and eucalyptus spilling out of a large glass vase.
