Anchorage is a small town, so it’s not a surprise when someone I know hires me. This summer four of my former coworkers are getting married. The first of the bunch was Hallidie and Erin. Both avid runners, their engagement was plastered all over social media when Erin got down on one knee and proposed to Hallidie at the start of the Shamrock Shuffle footrace in March. I was thrilled when they asked if I’d do the florals for their courthouse wedding.
They wanted something simple.
It all started with an asymmetrical crown of beautiful spray roses, baby’s breath, mini myrtle and mini pittosporum. Then Erin’s grandmother asked if I’d make a bouquet to match.
A classic petite bouquet framed with salal and dusty miller. I love the peachy hue to the roses.
Congrats to Erin and Hallidie!
